Who Is Jojo Francine?

2 min readMar 1, 2021

My enthusiasm and passion for multimedia journalism is a unification of my favourite interests and the desire to highlight subjects that are challenging.

“…have multiple streams of knowledge and income in order to achieve success”

Multi– a combining form meaning “many” and “multiple”. The word is a clear description of what I am about.

I like being actively involved in many different areas. Spiritual, professional and physical outline the areas I am regularly active in. As a Mother, Beautician, Managerial professional, Artist and Freelance Journalist, studying Multimedia Journalism seemed like a natural choice to hone in on my natural investigative and inquisitive mind.

My role models and elders set the example to have multiple streams of knowledge and income in order to achieve success. Multimedia Journalism offers this under one title.

Monumental moments & experiences

I covered the 2019 Political Elections. I informed and offered live Updates and Breaking News to the community via my twitter feed and a national radio station. To say my perspective on politics widened is an understatement. I enjoyed researching and tracking the different political campaigns on a National and local level.

I have experience in News writing, News Features, Reviews, documentary analysis, Blogs and YouTube. I am currently in my second year studies at The University of Wolverhampton. These skills coupled along with Radio and television productions are consistently being up skilled.

Goal

My current goal is to continue freelancing in Journalism, be unapologetically me and overall create entertainment and a voice for those that are somewhat forgotten and/or oppressed.
